L-200

Went to Big Al's Wednesday night and noticed they had 4 new plecs. 2 L-200's and 2 others I'm not sure about, they look like L007's to me but I'm not 100%. Anyways guys there weren't sure about prices or anything, so I went back last night w/ some info for them and I got my name put on one of the L-200's for when they're ready to be sold. So stoked about this, been wanting a 200 for quite some time now :D The other one is spoken for as well, while I was there someone else put their name on the other. Guy that worked there told me that now that he knows what they are and how sweet they look they're definately ordering in a bunch more so here's a heads up that we should be getting quite a few 200's in town soon :D

They also got some more baby royals but they look to be in as good condition as the last batch. There's also a really nice sailfin plec around the 4" mark there gorgeous markings on it, if I didn't have the one I have now I'd be scooping it up.

hopefully you can get a positive ID on the other pleco in the tank.

They got some HUGE angels in, worth checking out as well.

They still have a few para pleco's(L-75) in as well, same batch since last month. There's another kind there as well that look like the king tigers but the markings seem to be just a bit different, they just got those in wednesday night with the L200's

The trouble with most if not all Big Al's stores is they use an old first edition paper back L number book. Some pictures are hand drawn. The names and numbers they put on the tanks at best are an uneducated guess. Example Inspectors called Galaxie and King Tigers Zebras. I saw this on Friday in one store.

They hadn't labelled the fish when I saw them, I gave them the L# for the 200, but told them I wasn't sure about the spotted ones, they were going to call the guy they got them from to get an ID on them, I haven't been in since though(thursday), the guy I talk to there doesn't work weekends so I'll probably be going back monday to talk to him some more about the plecos:)

But I know the book you're talking about, it's done in german mostly right? we were looking through it and all they had was a drawing of the L-200, but then we went through another book looking @ the synodontis cats and found the L200 in there with a real picture of it.

I saw the tank with the two L200's and a Black White Spotted plec that I wasn't too sure on exact L # either..

Should be a whack more in there today as I believe shpments arrive on Sundays and they have Columbian Zebra Plecos on sale (18.99) from 21st to 27th and I hadn't seen ANY there yesterday the 20th..
