Hello!
My name is Margaret and I am a proud owner of two plecos. Had I known of this forum earlier, I would have gotten some pics and ask for help with ID. The LFS had them labelled as Long finned lace bristlenose plecos but I would love to have the actual scientific name and number to go with that.
They have lovely, long long tails and their fins are very delicate and flowing. The tail itself is about 1/2 the length of the fish. I am secretly hoping they are M and F so I can try my hand at breeding them.
I am very glad to have found this forum and hope to learn lots about plecos from all of you.
Margaret.
P. S. Edited to add: I have recently come back to the fishkeeping hobby about 9 mths ago after about 20 yr. lapse. Presently I have 5 tanks with 2 plecos, Khuli and Yoyo Loaches, 2 male Bettas, 2 female Bettas, some fancy Guppies, Otos, neons, 2 gold fish and a whole bunch of Amano Shrimpies. Love them all!
