Switch to sand

Changed the gravel out in my 120gallon and switched it with pool filter sand. Here are the results. Most of the pics w/ sand are still cloudy because some of it was stirred up, getting some fresher pics tommorrow (It's cleared up amazingly well) after I change over my 75g to sand.

Filtration concists of a Rena XP4 and it's little brother the XP2, I love these filters. Also thinking of adding a powerhead w/ sponge attachment, any reccomendations brandwise?

Oh yea, sorry for not doing the L# in the description.

I have written down (it's downstairs w/ the tanks at the moment) what I believe most of them to be, I'm not 100% on the L# for my royals though.

I got them at Big Al's here in whitby during the boxing day sale.

That's where I got my Royal. I didn't see any King Tiger plecos, and they only had a few "White Seams" left (and none of them actually had nice white seams like yours does).

Do you mind telling me how much they were?

NICE.... my white seams are always hiding... rarely see them. Your's looks awesome!

The sand looks sweet, I think I am going to use sand in some of my tanks.

Looking at tanks running sand lately makes me wish I took a customer up on the offer for a couple bags of Silica Sand (sand blasting company)..

Maybe next time I'm out there..

And Sean, the white seams were $40 and then 20% taken off that for the boxing day sale, and the king tiger was $45 w/ 20% taken off of that as well.

I was there wed or thursday to talk fish with one of the guys there and noticed they still had a few left, they were in the tank with the golden clown knives(against right hand wall above stingrays and feeder goldfish). The knives weren't doing too well though, hopefully nothing transferred over to the plecs and took'em out.
