Neat! I'm guessing the sponge is air driven?
What's the thickness of the acrylic you've used? Also is it possible to have the bottom pane made in black?

Hi ameekplec,
Yah, this is sponge driven. I was thinking that a hose splitter can be added so that the air pump can drive both the airstone (in the saver) as well as the mini sponge filter, driving water out of the saver.
Currently, I using 1/8" acrylic. Ofcourse other thicknesses and colour can be used. Price will be based on the cost different for the acrylic.
The bottom pane can be black, white or blue. Pretty much what i can get from the acrylic store.
Thanks

Thanks Kate. I am sure he's silently enjoying every moment making fish stuff for you. I wish I could make some fish related stuff for my wife. She doesn't care for any fish except maybe the discus and the L46's.

The fry saver that John makes and sells is of very good quality and design. The Mini Sponge moves lots of water. I do have one suggestion for users. Have the mini sponge on the outside bringing water in. If you have it inside I find that it sucks up the baby brine shrimp before the fry can eat it.
