Plecos Coming

I was informed by Aquatic Kingdom that they are getting 30 L number plecos this Thursday. But don't hold your breath as I've been told fairy tales before. I'll check on Friday and see if they are there and what condition they are in. Personally I like to leave new fish for a week to see if they have adapted to local water.

Wow, that's a big shipment. Please do let us know what kind of pleco they have. That means I should be expecting something from Luckys Aquarium as well. It is spring time after all.

I went last week and didn't see anything out of the ordinary. Allthough I was in a rush & basically did a run through looking for 260's, 081's & 134's. Maybe the shipment was delayed?

Its definately spring time already, Big Als Whitby had L002, 104, 128, 129, 200, 202 in this week already that I noticed, can't wait to see what else comes in over the next couple weeks. Its like a second christmas :D

I was in Aquatic Kingdom and talked to them today. The shippment did not come last week as it was a holiday where they are coming from. They have not received shipping conformation yet but are hoping to get them by the weekend. But the South Americans always say tomorrow. Never the less this is what was ordered. What arrives could be most anything but here is your dream list as given to me.

L-330, L-191, L-190, L-075,L-092 L-106, L-128, L-163, L-168, L-189, L-190B, L-199, L-200, L-201, L-235, L-238, L-240, L-244, L-340, LDA-32, LDA-074

I stopped in at Aquatic Kingdom late yesterday afternoon. They are expecting their shipment of plecos in on Monday, Mar. 30. They said that lots are coming. My thanks to Charlie for the heads up about A.K. I'd never been there before but I'll definitely be going back. Nice shop.

I was in Aquatic Kingdom today. They now have a confirmed arrival date of April 2nd. Lets hope they get what they ordered.

Big Al's in Mississauga has the biggest Sultan plecos that I have ever seen. They are at least 8" long. The price is big also at $79.99 each. They are in the tank with the wild discus.

The plecos at Aquatic Kingdom have still not come in. The hope of a good shipment where you can buy about six to grow up and possibly spawn seems to be fading. One small pathetic shipment of fish that arrived yesterday had 2 L-81 fine spot gold nuggets in it. I hope that is not the type of order that they have coming with one of this and that.

Big Al's in Oakville had 6 black plecos with large white spots nearly 6" long. No name, price or L number on the tank. But they looked great.

The plecos have arrived at Aquatic Kingdom. Big 200's and 128's and 240's Royal and Blue Panaque. Also L-199 @ $21.99, L-235 @ $39,99, L-102 @ $29.99, L-240 @ $49.99 and L-129B @ $14.99 and L-034. There is probably a few others that I don't remember. The fish appeared in fairly good condition and most prices are reasonable.
