Got some Rays today.

Well I received a few rays today thanks to Oliver at Belowwater.com (http://www.Belowwater.com)

He shipped me two Potamotrygon aff.motoro Royal spotted ray, they arrived in excellent shape as usual, great packaging from him.

I knew that they were skinny but he assured me that they were eating. Bloodworm, blackworm, neon tetras and shrimp. Well after they were in the tank for about an hour I threw in a cut up raw FROZEN shrimp from the grocery store and low and behold the really skinny one went right over and started hoovering it up!

I am very happy with these guys and now I need to find them a girl :)

Will get some pics once I get them fattened up a bit.

Yup for sure! They are in a 90 for now until they are nice and fattened up. I think I will actually be draining the big tank for some period while I re-do all the plumbing and such. Then hopefully by the time I am done I can put the rays in there. Going to do a total re-scape and a bunch of other things to the big tank.
