Okay they are finally at a point that is driving me bonkers..

Crushing them ended up only adding additional food and thus additional snails..

Picking them out well that never "solves" the issue.

Feed less well that isn't a problem so much as I don't feed large amounts in that tank other then veggies.. (mainly pleco's in the tank)

What can I treat the tank with to kill off the snails that won't hurt the Plecos or thier fry..

Any ideas thanked in advance ..

Hi Zoban: Get a couple of zebra loaches. Your snails will be gone in a couple of days. The loaches are friendly and get along well with plecos. They also stay small. I had the same problem and they really cleared it up fast.

They won't interfere/eat pleco eggs or fry ?

Had skunks at one point that I had to get rid of as they used to attack spawns.

Not that I'm aware of. My zebra loaches are not at all aggressive. They're nothing like skunk loaches. I've got some of those as well and they are nasty little buggers. Maybe someone out your way could lend you a few for a couple of days. If you were in Mississauga, you could have mine for a week or two.

What kind of snails? I don't think anything will eat MTS's, but they are helpful anyway.

There is a carnivorus snail out there that some of the stores occasionally sell. (Menagerie gets them on occasion) They don't breed too badly and will consume most small types of snalis including MTS
