Another Trip to Detroit

Well yesterday Kyle and myself headed down to Detroit to get some more Zebra babies :) We ended up getting 15 i think.

Also got some great L183's White Seam BN.. they look awesome.

Then we did the worst thing possible. We asked if there was a good lfs.. WELL... we were sent over to Fantastic Fish on Ann Arbour Rd in Livonia. OMG Talk about a great pleco selection. The owner specializes in plecos and has just about anything you can think of. Kyle picked up 8 Leopard frogs and I picked up a trio of 6" (yup 6 freakin inch) L204's. two females and 1 male. He had prob 30 types of plecos there at least.. maybe more. Well worth the visit down.

Nice! How is pricing?

Also, what kind of hoops do you have to jump through to get stuff across the border (or do you just "sneak it" back across)?

We were honest as to what we had.. not about prices though lol.

First time down we had no issues, second time we had a witch of a border person, so she sent us inside for secondary inspection. We handed them a piece of paper we had of the fishes scientific name they looked it up, it wasnt on the CITIES list, we paid our $8 taxes and were on our way :)

Congrats on the baby zebras :) Would love to get my hands (tanks) on them :) but don't have that kind of $$$ Hummm....if there is a Santa hope he is watching.
