I'll save you some for sure Kristy, I'm sure we can figure out a trade :). My brown lace that were temporarily in that tank bred as well so there are TONS of little guys zipping around everywhere. The calico's have just started to hatch and are so teeny! I can't believe the size of the pair that bred so little barely a whisker on the male. Guess all the wacky weather paid off. Meanwhile everyone else that I've been conditioning like crazy, nothing. Rotten fish!

My Calico plecos have also spawned. My long finned ones should be ready to spawn very soon also. Long fins are usually a bit slower growing.

I keep looking for pictures of this Calico Pleco and just have not found one. Anyone care to post pics? Seems to me that I will want some of these too Kat so put me on the list I think. But I don't like to buy Pleco's till I know for sure that they are compatible with my tank setup and I have not found Calico specs yet. My tank is Well planted etc.
I found some L014's I fell in love, I would have bought them on the spot at only $120/each but first I came home and researched only to discover that they would not appreciate my home more than likely. :( Multiple big Tanks are not really an option as Hubby would not like that and he would complain something fierce.

How they doing Kat?? My calico's won't even look at one another. Had them for over a year now and they're just not interested. The female had a fling with my L144 and now won't go back to her own kind... grrrrrrrr LOL Mind you , i've been so busy lately. I haven't been giving them that extra little special touch.
That's what I get for going back to work full time. Guess they're mad at me. :o

They are doing great! They grow much slower then the albino's or the brown lace but they also breed at a much smaller size or at least mine are. :)

If you strain/cross your eyes you can spot 3 calico's amidst my brown lace fry.

Glad to hear it Charlie, I figured yours would be as well since my short fins from Doug have also began to spawn.
