Just want to share with you guys. I have a trio, long fin albino male bought from a breeder and two albino females (siblings) bought from LFS.
I had my first clutch a month ago from the first female and second clutch a couple of weeks back from the other female. All my fries are doing well, but guess what....none came out albino but it seems a large percentage are long fins though. Has anyone had this experience?
Recently, I bought a long fin albino female from where I got my male, I'm trying to condition her into breeding and see what will come out.
Also, all my fries are in a fry saver net hanging in the same aquarium as the parents but I noticed a few days back that there is one fry that have probably escaped long before...it's almost twice the size of the others! All my fries never ran out of foods but how come they grow slower than the one that got away? It might be the wood factor since I can't place a wood in the net. Any comments?
