I have been seeing these pop up in conversation when it comes to breeding plec's. Poeple are saying plec's will breed in these before even going near a slate cave or pot. Have any of you seen them for sale here in T.O.?

I was told by a few of the guy's I know in the states say that they are great for spawing a lot of cichlids and plec's as well. I just saw a pic of one for the first time on PF.

I've got 1 or 2 of them, as does Kyle. His L134's breed in slate over them I believe. Right now I have an L400 parked in one as well as some others in slate, no luck with either though :(

Hard to come by those bells around here.

I heard from many that plec's go crazy for these bells and people are breeding all sorts of plec's that are not the easiest to spawn. I have a few guy's @ AT that know Rick Boester. They are going to give me his info so I can buy them from him. I want to give these a shot. I am in contact right now with one of his friends that sell them I hope he will ship them to me.

That looks kind of smallish. But I think it'll do the trick. One good thing about this is that it's round and not square like the slate. So when you get fry, you won't grown any snub nose.

I can't believe that people still think it is a genetic anomality.... mind you is a good way to get some lesser expensive ones... ;)
