Hi Guys
yes, inspectors might be aggressive. Said to be worse at higher temps, but I haven't noted that. A large male will sometimes kill what he can even at lower temps.

I will be be sellinng the winner of the inspector battles soon.
He's a big guy.

what sale Zoban ? How much ?

Aye Big Al's tagged as a GN and sale was 18 bucks .. guess I got a deal..

Think they were supposed to be getting more "GN"'s in so will have to slide by and check what they actually are and the $ for em..

From the Corporate site for BigAl's you can have them email you the store specials for the store or stores of your choise aswell for those that didn't know.

yeah, I'd guess they are not going to be $18 too often.
They are neat cause they still look good when they are adult

I haven't heard of Inspectors being agressive toward other plecos. I have had them in with whiptail catfish and Checkerboard Cichlid fry with no problems. I'll have to toss in a bushynose and see what happens. When I first got mine they were in with my King Tigers and they did try to crowd into their caves but the Tigers pushed them out.

I put a long fin albino bushynose an inch long with three dozen inspectors the same size after I read Rich's problem and after three weeks or more it is still in fine shape. Sometimes too much meat in the diet is bad for bushynose.

thanks for testing it out. Must have been meat or something to do with the food. The new batch only gets veggies from me now. Sweet potato, Cucumber, Zuccini, snow peas, etc. :)

As soon as I read of killer Inspectors I placed a bushynos long fin albino in a tank with three dozen inspectors his size and larger. After all this time it is still doing fine. The problem could be too much meat in the diet of the bushynose. No wood to chew on or some other unrelated problem. My big agressive king tigers have a male long fin bushynose male in their tank to keep the glass clean and no problems arise. The two male tigers have some great battles and throw sand all over but no real harm is done.
