Yup, the ones in green in my sig. Never got around to making more caves today yet, maybe later on tonight.
So you got the L257B not the L257
Whats the difference
We have the L257 available out west, right now.
And don't you just love the L240, I just got one 2 weeks ago, I think I'll just have to get more, there alot more outgoing then I remember
Cheers

257b is a new species, Oliver just gave it a b after because it looks fairly similar to L257, but the collection spot it not the same. I get them tomorrow so will get pics them.
Ya I LOVE my L240's they are always out and about, not shy at all! Hopefully I can get them breeding now that they have a 125gallon tank to themselves.

I have to admit that the L240 is a really nice plec... but lean a bit more towards the L264 Sultans in that species. I have one right now and am gowing to see about growing the numbers to 4.

Ahh yes, the L264's are very nice also. They tend to be much more shy then my L240's though, maybe because my L264 are so small still.
I have one L240, its probably the most active pleco I've had, I believe I'll get another this weekend,,,
Any of you fellows have either a LDA31
or L168 Butterfly, just curious to know what you think of either
Yes the Sulton is a nice looking pleco, we have a shop here that just got them in, as well the L273 Titanic,,, there so similar but so different,,, both beautiful
Peace

LDA31 is that the Panaque being called red galaxy Panaque? I seen both colours of them about a year ago I bought one orange spot and two red spot. I found them to be very sensitive and I would not try and keep them again unless it was in a tank all on their own. I have never kept the L-168 not my kind of plec :)

How did your caves turn out Rich? I'm tempted to get a tile saw and give it a try myself. I think the caves I currently have are too small for my L66's.

How do you know what size to make the caves for the plecos? Are there "size A" for this size pleco, and onwards? I'd like to give it a try for my king tigers and BN plecos.
