Bunch of new plecos

Well i went nutty the other day and got all kinds of new plecos

got 8 x L260's now. looks like 3 of em are males and the rest females YIPPIE, no pics of them, they are all hiding in their caves.

5 x LDA33 (I THINK)


5 x Gold nuggets (dunno which L #'s), one of them is over 6" though and is all by himself in my display tank.

Mixed info it seems on the web regarding the adult size of Nuggets any input?

A silly question for you but how do you get your vals to grow so tall? I can't seem to manage more than about 8" in height with mine before they start to break down.

Hell I wish mine would stay 8" or so..

Lots of light, diy co2, excel and such ..

I dont do anything other then some cheap old T5's. They grow like crazy. No co2, no ferts no nothin.

I've got T5's with grow bulb, I use Flora Root substrate enricher (iron and trace minerals), I fertilize, I've got tons of pleco poop and 8" vals. No CO2 on the system but all other plants do well. The string algae does way to well. Maybe they don't like me!
