Almost snagged me some turtles lol

haha was driving the other day and saw a log that was a tad too lumpy.... well it was COVERED in 3 inch or so turtles... If i was on my way home and to the city I woulda stopped and got one or 2 for my native tank. Oh well.

Was neat to see though, never come across that many turtles at one time.

Neato! The only time I've seen more than one turtle on a log was when I worked for one summer up north as a forest ranger. I saw a bunch stacked up on each other, probably competing for the best sunning spot. Funny little guys especially when they all panic when they realize you're there and plunk into the water one after another!

You are better off not even touching them let alone introdcuing them into your tank. You risk transfering negetive pathogens. You could rish getting your fish sick and even yourself.

I wish this was not true or I would grab some of the painted turtles in the ponds near me:(
