Price for L260?

I've been looking for two or three more L260 (as it seems Katalyst and KnaveTO are too...) in the city and haven't been able to find them anywhere. But I just came across two today, but they're still small (<2" TL), and I don't think they can be sexed, but based on head shape, I'd say at 1M, 1F. I can get them for 40 each, and was wondering if that was a good price for them? Any opinions? I'm new to all of these guys, so I have no ideas as to what a 'good' price for them would be.

I've seen them range in price anywhere from $30-$45. I currently have a female and will be looking for a 2 male's and another female in the future. They can be found, I know a few people locally who are working on breeding them at the moment. They are beautiful fish aren't they? :)

They sure are beautiful! Mine hides a lot under a piece of driftwood where he dug out a cave (his permanent, bigger home is currently empty, but ready to go), but he pokes his head out from time to time.

When I saw Kyle's zebs (I think I saw his name mentioned somewhere on a thread, and yes they're alive, but the adults he's got he thinks are both male), I knew I wanted zebs, but upon finding more about them, I knew I'd have to start a bit...smaller :) Scouring over PC, I saw the L260's and I had to get them!

I've spent the last few weeks scouring the internet for info on these guys, and so I'm confident I have a male! I've been looking at getting more, but the lfs where I got him hasn't been able to get more for the last few weeks. I think I'll go get those little guys then and start raising them up!!

Lucky you! Although I hven't really been actively following the market on these guys I would think that 40 is about what they would go for. Right now all my spare cash is going into my zebra fund.
