Blue Eyed Panaque - Trade?

Good day,

As some of you have seen. I was lucky enough to aquire a large BEP ~15". This thing is huge!

Rather than profiting through cold hard cash - I've always wanted to try zebra plecos and maybe this is my opprtunity to make a trade.

Open to offers, the # of zebra plecos I would be looking for would of course depend on size/age of the plecos. As seen in another thread, Below Water is/was selling 8" BEPs for $2000 (mine is much larger).

not tons of people here yet, its still a pretty new board :) that and not a whole lot of people I know what to drop 2k or so on a fish.

I think you guy's are missing the big picture the fish is not worth that much just because one retailer is asking that price. He is just trying to make a profit off the few folks that are desperate enough and dont mind forking over that kind of cash.

If you really want to sell it hit up a few forums that have guy's from east Asia as members they will pay thr premium for a fish like that considering it's size. You will have to ship though or get someone to do it for you.

Very true. I wouldn't sell a BMW for the price of a Kia. Blue Eye's have been a rare commodity for a few years now and the price has gone up considerably. You shouldn't slam Saku for expecting to get market value for a fine looking pleco. On the other hand, Canada is a pretty limited pleco market. If you're looking to sell, you may have to go international.
