For sure two adult King Tiger Plecos (4"+) and maybe a couple of smaller Salt Queen Arabesque plecos (2.5") and a Para Pleco. I could sell more but I have other fish to sell also. I have 84 plecos (25 types)and that's too many.

True, but I've got 2 full lab reports due monday and 5 exams to study for, and no car :(. Sigh, 1 more year of university and then I can really get into pleco collecting :D

It was a great auction and I believe I bought your King Tiger pair. :) I love them! As well as a royal. :)

Lol Kate, I heard you were bidding on almost every pleco that was auctioned. I can just picture it now, everybody in the room just looks in your direction when a pleco goes up for bid... wish I was there though.

Every pleco huh? That's too funny and a bit of a tall tale, I sold more pleco's then I bid on. I bid on 2 different lots of pleco's and won both, a pair of king tigers and a dulled eye royal L191 that my husband wanted for the river tank he's building.

Yeah, that's one thing about auctions. Unless you're desperate to get rid of your live stocks. Never sell everything in one shot. You'll definately get a better price doing private sales.

I figured as much but it was my first auction selling, in the end I sold enough to pay for all of my purchases so it worked for me. Plus it was fun to meet and see a bunch of people who normally I wouldn't see daily.

At auctions you never sell more than 3 fish in a bag. You will not get any more money for 4 fish than 3 fish. Just something learned over a few years of auctions. Seems to really apply to plecos.

Nice tip. I'll remember that next time.

Thank you.
