Well today I did my first thing in preparation for my move in 6 weeks. I emptied one of my 125 gallon tanks. The ich is all cleared up from the tank and i moved the 2 remaining L239'd into a 20 gallon tank with 6 small L264's and 4 angel fish and a ton of bogwood, ya its a bit over crowded but I do water changes on it lots and they all have their territories.

Moved the notres into my other 125 with my silver dollars, congo tetras, big ass L330 and many other plecos. I also moved 2 angels out of my L46 tank it now only has plecos in it and put them in this 125 also. So tomorrow I am getting 4 more angels and 6 more big notres.. heheh this tank is WAY over crowed!!!! So I bumped up the filtration too, EHEIM all the way, a W/D 2229, ProII 2028, PRO3e (the bigger one) and a emp 400. Hopefully this will be enough filtration, will still have to do at least once a week 50% water changes I thinks. Oh well, the tank looks badass, will try to get some pics up soon.

Now back to the 40 gallon breeder tank (this one houses my L46 & L400). I ordered on a whim some Africans. Soooo this being the only decent sized tank it needed a re-do too. I took out everything in the tank, found all my zebras that was kinda nice. and vacummed it. I really don't know why everyone makes such a big deal about these L46 being so sensitive, this tank was NASTY DIRTY! anyway, its all cleaned up now and has a fancy new look with big ole rocks seeing as I had so many extra from emptying the on 125g just a few hrs ago.

Tomorrow I go off and get me some new fishies... YAHOOOO I will get pics of everything tmrw so this makes more sense :)

long post, prob doesnt make much sense, but i kinda just felt like rambling on.

Cheers,

Rich

Not being an overly sensitive individual, I'm wondering why you wouldn't wait until after the move to buy more fish. Being a greedy self-centred individual (my wife's words, not mine) I do understand the "I see, I want" impulse to buy but the lazy side of me says wait a couple of weeks then you don't have to move so much stuff. Less work is good. I moved 3 months ago and don't want to repeat that experience again.

hehe i couldn't wait.. I wanted :) No more fish though for a while now. Some interesting fish I had never seen before. THEN I go and stop at a big als and see some red angels.... NEVER seen those before, it took everything I had to not buy some :(
