Yep, I picked up 8 of them yesterday from Specer over at http://www.cichlaholic.com/

I also picked up a group of 5 Gymnogeophagus sp. norte These cichlids were only discovered a few years back and there are very few in Canada, so i feel pretty lucky about being able to get my hands on some. Now just hope they will grow to be as pretty as teh fish below.

Okay back to the plecos. All arrived in one big back with 2 heater packs, AWESOME. I did an acclimatization over about 2-3 hours to their new home in a 125 gallon tank. Looks like I have 2-3 males and the rest female another plus :). They are all about 3-3.5 inch and are what i believe could be sexually mature seeing that it is very easy to distinguish the males from the females.

All of them seem very healthy and they have even been picking at some zuccini over the past 18 hours or so also which amazed me.

Anyhow hopefully I can get these guys to breed in the future :) Will post up some photos shortly.

Glad they came in alive and healthy. Don't forget, L239's like their meat.

Been feeding all kinds of stuff and they seem to be eating a bit already which I am very happy about. It's hard to tell what they are eating meat wise but been feeling blood worms, mysis, brine etc. its gone in the morning and the few that had sunken eyes are looking MUCH better too.

Will try to get some pics this week for u all. They hide pretty good though!

Man I know it sucks:(

Mine look like crap. Coverd in ICH eating well and active but this ICH wont let up. I added meds as well but it seems to have stayed the same. I really think I should of stayed away from these fish but the price was right and now I am screwed LOL

If you can find it, Quick Cure will clear up the ick. If not, try Kordon's Rid Ick. It is supposed to work well.
