More plecos

Big Al's in Mississauga have some very nicely marked L205's for sale at the moment. They're listed as Tiger plecos and are in two different tanks. If you look really hard, they also have some L264 Sultans. Dragon Aquarium still had four L024 Flame cactus plecos as well as a bunch of L191 Royals and some Xingus. I was sure tempted to get another Cactus.

When it rains, it pours! Definitely Pleco season as all the local lfs's in London here have a large variety of plecos. If you guys are looking for Mango's there's a store here with four left at around 4" long for $50 each.
Those cactus were tempting when I was there also. I think you might as well get them because it could be another year or so before you see this selection. :D

Oh thanks Bert. You're a big help - trying to talking me into another cactus (they sure are pretty though). My quarantine tank is already full and I've got to buy another tank between now and Christmas. My wife will kill me! Oh well, no use looking for sympathy on this site!

I may be in the same boat as you, might have to get a tank before christmas if I keep getting more. I just bought 2 mango's yesterday and I really really really like them, and I could get another 4 if I wanted to, except I'm low on space as you are.:eek:

ahhhh I am in the same boat as both of you, I wish I could go get a ton of new plecos, I have the tank space, but no floor space to put the empty tanks in my tiny house :(

Can't you rack them? I seem to recall that you had a rack from Home Depot that was pretty sturdy. You could load it up with 40 gal breeders. Think of the plecos you could have!

We all seem to have the same space problems! I've got over 70 plecos (23 different L #'s) but I still don't have the much too expensive L46.

I do have a big sturdy rack, but no room for it :( I took my 125's off of it when i moved up here and made a seperate stand for each of them. Now it's being used to hold all kinds of crap in the garage (which is justa s cold as outside BURRR). And no basement in the house either or else i'd be inside and full of tanks :) Even have enough 40 breeders to fill it up, DAMN. Oh well someday.

70 plecos!!! Holly cow, and 23 difference species, even more impressive. How many tanks are you running?

Thanks. I'm running 17 tanks of various sizes. Most of my plecos are peckoltia and hypancistrus species.

Damn, I really envy you guys. I only have 8 tanks, and I already got the ultimatum from my wife. ... :( :(
