What do Zebra's like to eat? Do they eat vegetables? Do they only eat once a day?

Zebra, L046 are carnavores, I feed a high quality sinking pellet. ITs made mostly of shrimp, krill, etc. they eat a bit of veg from time to time, but not much.

Zebra Plecos are mainly meat eaters and feed mostly after dark. They eat frozen blood worms, mysis shrimp which is very high in protein and beef heart a couple of times a week. For small zebras the blood worms should be chopped as the occassional fry has been known to choke on them.

I feed mine frozen BABY Brine shrimp a couple times a week, sinking shrimp pellets a couple times and this---- this is what the breeder that I got them from uses. http://kensfish.com/kensspecialtyfood.html

Golden Pearls - size i believe is 300-500 micron

They love the stuff...
