Hey, I just bought a new Dremel XPR with a bunch of toys to go with it. Now I can make funky pleco digs like Zoban. My daughter already has plans for me to make a columned structure for her new killifish tank. I just have to buy some more slate tiles then I can get started. It's going to be fun playing with the new toy - I can hardly wait!

If you are going to cut slate get diamond cutting bits. I got a great deal on a 500pc Mastercraft Dremel kit for $80.00 and CrappyTire. Now just got to grab some slate to begin my projects for pleco caves. Amongst others... lol

Diamond wheel is as mentioned best one for slate when it comes to a dremel.

Remember to go slow when cutting as well.

Home Depot usually has decent stock on natural slate tiles to work with as well.
