A young pair of my Sturisomatichthys sp. Columbia 1 spawned last night and the young male which is half the size of his parents is guarding the eggs. Ingo stated that the offspring from the wild parents that grow to 5-1/2 inches do not grow as large. They may be great for smaller setups as they are a great little fish. The parents have spawned almost continuously but the fry have been a bit of a challenge. That is being over come.
