Moved the tank that my L114 are in and also some L411's The 114's have grown a lot in the past 8-9 months. The 2 largest are a boy and girl  Missed one of the medium sized ones in the pic, but there are 6 x L114, 8 or 9 x L411, 2 x L273 and 4 x Red BN in a 75g tank.

hey rich, if you dont mind me asking how do you cram that many plecos into a 75 gal tank? I only ask because it's my biggest tank atm and I have what I consider alot of plecos in it but not as many as you. Obv frequent water changes, but is it bare bottomed? lots of driftwood/caves? I had to move a L91 cause he was getting aggressive with everyone

This tank is bare bottom, so much easier to keep clean! It gets maybe 10% wc daily, or 20% every couple days. Depends how busy I am. This tank prob has the least amount of fighting of any tank, no idea why. The fins and bodies on the 114's are perfect. I just thru in 10 more fish too LOL The hypans are all under 2.5" as are the BN. The L273 are 3-3.5". There is a lot of wood, and 4 -6 caves of various sizes. I feed the tank maybe every other day or sometimes only a few times a week, food depends on m water changes that week :) Zero top swimming fish, pleco only in here and until this past week was only filtered with 4 x hydro sponge 5's, it ran like that for over a year.

ah, i figured as much. unless i get co2 of some kind i've been considering taking all the gravel out of my 75 gallon and giving up on plants. the plecos just leave sooo much waste in the substrate I find.
thx man

Sure it's ugly and no light other then a single twist fluorescent light. I just recently threw a pump in there with a big sponge on the intake. This tank will be on a system be the weekend. Yahoo no more water changes for me :)

Alright heres an UGLY tank photo. as you can see, you cant see a single fish except for a red bn. I just put some food in there before lights out and it needs some water, but this is generally how the tank looks. EMPTY. yet very full.
lots of wood, caves and sponge filters. seems to work for me at least.
This tank is 4' long as well!

Nice Ugly tank Rich ;P
What's important are the pleco in the tank, it's not a show tank !
Sponge filter are great ! I use them with powerhead or just air in some tank, but for an unknown reason, some royal pleco love to eat the sponge...
Now we need some pictures of the LDA105 !
I might try to take some pictures of my pleco over the weekend.
Have a Nice Day !

Pseuda eat sponge too! Scobi eat sponge worse then anything tho. The old panaque I had would send them flying several feet across the tank! He didn't like them at all.
Will try for 105 Photo but no light on the tank :(. The male I haven't seen leave the cave in 2-3 months either lol.

No problem with my L14, but had some in the past with the L24...
I removed the sponge for a month, when I put them back, he never touched them again !
Have a Nice Weekend !
