L330's

Just thought I'd share. My L330 is getting older and bigger and everyday I notice his stripes are becoming spots, it's quite exciting really! Is this normal for a pleco enthusiast? :D

How big is it now? and how long have you had it for?

He/she is only 3" long, I've only had it for about 2 months. I believe it is a male because of the size of the odontodes. I could be wrong though. He's got a nice big belly on him. :D I wish I could find more!

ya they are not the most common to find... I found mine at the BigAls steels location about 6-7" though. Cool lookin guys, shoulda got more then one also :)

Would you guy's happen to know what they are worth at 8''?

When I got my guy he was only about 2.5" long and cost $75, but I got a deal since I got two other L034s. I haven't seen one since, even in all the fish stores in and around Toronto. I hope someone gets them in soon, not too big, I like watching them grow. :D

I asked because I picked one up at 8'' from some dude for $25. I dont think he knew what he was selling. I want to find more of them I hate having one pleoc of it's own kind. It looks out of place. 6 months ago is not bad they might be able to order more of them unless it was a trade in.

They are avialable for sale at some chinese fish store like, Luckys Aquarium or Aqua Pet. Managerie is another place that get's a rare pleco in once in a while.
If I ever see them for sale, I post it here.
Very nice pleco. Wish I have a big enough tank to hold them.

When I got it from there they said that they will be getting in more plecos on a regular basis now that they have found a decent supplier. I think that was their first order from them when I picked up mine. Remember plecos have seasons when they are collected tho! So you can go for 6 mths and not find anything then all of a sudden you can have pretty much anything you can think of.
