Many cory cats as well as other species stop spawning in summer. My C. simillis are spawning once or more times a week. All it takes is a water change. The Aspidoras albater are the same way. My weitzmani are laying a few eggs reluctantly. The first year that I had them they spawned all summer. In another few weeks some other cory cats should start to spawn.

my c. barbatus left a few clusters of egg scattered amongst anubia leaves just yesterday. no water changes recently for this planted tank, but i have been feeding them more often over the last few weeks.

my group of sterbai cories are spawning every few days regardless of water changes as well.. they really seem to be thriving since moving them into my little blackwater tank with a trio of L183's. although i'm not shure it would be considered summer anymore.. they may have been ready to spawn either way...
