Pleco Spawnings

Between my brother and I, we have had 5 different hypancistrus spawnings in the past 2 weeks.
They are in L number order: L66, L136, L201, L262 and L333.

As Charlie had predicted, it must have been the rainstorms and drop in barometric pressure that prompted the spawns.

Thank you folks. The spawns were not large. They varied from as little as 5 fry to about 20 and who knows how many will ultimately survive. It was the very first try for the L66, L136 and L333. Maybe their next attempt will yield better results.

Approx how many did you get form the L262's this time?

The L262 only produced 7 fry. Unfortunately all died before their egg sacs were consumed. For some reason they became bloated. The water quality was very good and they didn't get food yet. Anyone have any idea why?
