It is about time for these guys to do something. I have been peaking in this cave for awhile now but seeing nothing. Today I picked it up and looked more carefully and found it has at least 30 fry that were about ready to leave. They are now in one of John's fry savers and I'll see how this batch does.

That's great! Does the father get upset when they suddenly find the eggs/fry are missing?

The males get upset but not for long. It often makes them want to spawn again to replace the brood.

Moved my L066 fry from the fry saver to a tank of their own last night. My guess as to the number was out as I counted 40 on the move. They are now 6 weeks old and the move went well as they are all still alive this morning. I find if they are a month old and have doubled in size there is little trouble in moving them.
