Royal Pleco ?

Hello, this is my first post!

I'm looking to know all I can about my Royal Pleco and any help would be appreciated. I expected this to be rather straight forward; clearly, I am rather new to the world of Plecos and have much to learn. My initial research has already helped my Pleco as he/she has been devouring the snowpeas I have been feeding him/her.

I have attached photos to help with identification.
Would anyone be able to sex the fish from the photos or offer advice on how to?
Is this an L27?

Looks identical to my L190. Nice looking fish. Do you have wood for him/her to gnaw on? They also really like yams.

Excellent! that didn't take long at all! It does in fact have a lot of wood to gnaw on, which I take it from reading is a must. I'm going to give the yams a try. Thanks!
