Just by chance last month at the Hamilton Aquarium Society meeting in the monthly draw I picked up a fish food that I had not seen or tried before. It was a package of Wardley's Tropical Slow Sinking Crumbles. I was surprised as it was readily eaten by both herbivore and carnivore plecos as well as all the other fish in my tanks. I then went looking for it with no luck. Stores that carry Wardley's did not carry the Crumbles.
Dan Cole at MOPS is getting some in and will have it possibly by the weekend. You can check his site for that and more at www.mops.on.ca or you can email him if you are looking for any hard to find food or product.
Is it an animal (krill or shrimp) protein based feed or is it vegetarian? Curious to know if it would increase ammonia levels if not consumed right away.

Can't seem to find it when I tried to google it. The only thing I find is this negative feedback:

Doesn't seem like a bad idea for plecos cause they're bottom feeders anyway. Filtration should take care of any cloudiness in the water.

If his water clouded in two days of use I think that would be operator error not the products fault..

Wardley's Tropical Fish Crumbles contains krill. I picked up two packages from MOPS on Wednesday. The stores never carry a complete line of any product. MOPS will get things in that we can't find and have it at a lower price.
I bought a bag of the crumbles from MOPS and you're right, my pl*cos love them. Dump some in at night and they're all gone by morning. They don't sink like stones either (like some of the reviews say). The pl*cos say "thanks Bwhiskered!"
hello all I have the same slow sinking crumble for sale for a lower price. we had it made with warm water fats to make it more easier on the digestion. if you are ever in the kitchener area I will give free samples of this crumble. and I will have a tetra bit of my own very soon also. the crumble is $4.16/lb.
thanks

I noticed the quote was 7 1/2 years old. Also he was not feeding it to bottom feeders.
