New Plecos at Big Al's

I stopped in at Big Al's - Mississauga earlier today and they have some new plecos. They've got lots of clowns, some snowballs, a few L106 spotted orange seams, some nicely marked LDA-019 mega clowns and a few L264 sultans. I couldn't resist, I had to bring a Sultan home - beautiful fish. Damn, I really have to get off my fat butt and get the new tank set up. I'm getting max'd out but can't stop!

Nice.... how big is your new Sultan?

About 3-1/2" long if you include the tail. It has nice white tipping on the tail and dorsal fin. The others did as well. I may have to go back for another one. Sultans are one of the few plecos where colour improves with age.

Yeah, they are L264 Sultans. I liked them before and when I say the real thing I had to buy one. Of course I checked Planet Catfish to be sure when I got home and its the real deal. Dark grey body, black spots and white tips on tail and dorsal. They are listed at $ 35.00 ea but I was charged $ 30.00 - another bonus for stopping in! The tank lists them as spiny leopard plecos - totally wrong!!!!!! They are in an end tank across from the cyclids.
