Everyone that I know of uses an African Cichlid egg bubbler. They are of an awkward design and I find them small for pleco eggs. Here is a simple design that has worked well for me.
You start with a 1.5 liter plastic pop bottle. Cut off the bottom with a pair of scissors. Next cut a circle about 2 inches in diameter of the plastic needle point mesh. Glue that down inside the bottle with silicone by putting it on the edges. Take the cap and drill a hole in the center just large enough for an air stone stem. Put silicone on the top of the air stone and stick it in the cap so it will be on the inside. Wait until the silicone dries and then screw the lid on and add a piece of air line and a coupling. I use a strap of stainless steel to hang it on a tank or in a pail of water with a heater on it. The eggs are easily removed with a net to check for and remove bad ones. A drop of a fungus preventer can be used and the water changed if necessary. I usually leave the hatched fry in here until they are about ready to feed and then move them to a fry saver. The air builds under the mesh and tosses the eggs or at times the bubbles just surrounds them. It works great for me.658
