Price is $750 for 5 x 1-1.5" I have had them from several batches and all have been with me feeding and eating like crazy for at the min 3mths and some for about 6-9mths.
Let me know if your interested, I would really prefer to sell them as a group, but if I cannot I will sell them for $175 each.

If you want I'll hang onto them till your settled in up north.
I am interested if you still have them. Can you sex them at this size? I am going to take two and my friend will take the other three. He would like more females than males. That's the reason for the question on sexing.

Zebra plecos are not sexable until about 2-3 yrs of age, all of mine are 6mths or there abouts. Adults, IF you can find them will run you $400 a pop without any problem. I have been looking for an adult male for almost 9 months now and not had any luck at all.
I have one that is being picked up this week and that is all so far.

good luck I have been looking for years!!!! The only way to get pairs or specifically females is to buy young and grow them out.

again this is a GREAT deal for anyone getting into breeding zebras.
from a conservationists point of view it is great to see f1's of this breed being produced as the natural habitat of zebras is slowly being destroyed by the building of dams.
one day the only access we might have to this beautiful fish is through breeders, so i'd recommend getting on board now if you have the funds. :)

I don't know why everyone wants a female. They are very difficult to tell even if they are fully grown. Only when they are bulging with eggs can you actually tell that they are female. Well, actually that not really fully true. Aging male's bristles are twices a long. But young male and female are difficult to tell.
Also, the success of breeding lies in the hunky looking male. Not the female. Most female are picky about the male they want to breed with. And size is not a factor here. If you want to be succesful in breeding them, you need to find that aggressive male. If you find that hunky male, every female you have will want to have some with him. Dosile male gets nothing even with a 1 male to 3 females tank. The most you'll get is 1 or 2 times a year as compare to every 7 weeks.
