Got some L399/L400

Got me 6 of these beautys today, omg are they every sweet looking fish! Not sure if they are 399 or 400's but I dont really care, they are almost the same white and blacks as zebras, the white is a little more grey. I think these are now my fav. hypan. I will get some photos up tomorrow, it for sure looks like I have a bunch fo females and 1 or 2 males tho, and some of the females look to be full of eggs!

Well if i'm lucky they will spawn and I can sell some to people around here :)

How come everyone else gets nice pics of their plecos? Mine are like kids, the camera comes out and they run for cover. I'll keep trying.

Trick is to keep the camera out.. :)

Lot of my better pics are done when I'm sitting watching TV and typing on the laptop in the living room with the camera sitting beside me.

yep very true. These guys dont really have much to hide in either except for the males and their caves.

I have been trying to get some GOOD pics of my 12" L47 for 2 days now and no luck at all :(

From your pics and the ones of the L-400 on Planet Catfish they look a lot like my L-174 Panther Plecos. I still think that there will be a good number less plecos if and when they ever get them sorted out. I have 4 and three are males.
Just like many fish species a different location and the colour and pattern can change. Good luck with the spawning efforts.

Thanks Charlie, really not sure which L#'s they are, but from the pics I have seen well who knows :S Seems as tho I've got 3 pair here, the RO unit should be coming in this week so I can start playing with my water :)
