Yeah, I stumbled on there a while back. The Aussie forums have nice folks, but their import ban lists are so long and their pricing so out of whack with ours that it's hard to have common ground.

Forums have little to do with what is available in your country or area but rather the sharing of information.

Sure, but if they don't have any info on what we have because they don't have access to what we have, what will we share? ie, on a car forum, there's not a chance for us to talk to anyone about Opals or Ford Cosworth because we can't get them here. I'm not slagging the site, I'm just pointing out that a more global site like planetcatfish has more info than a localized site like CanadaPleco or PlecoFreaks.

That's why I joined Canadapleco because I wanted to find out what people have access to and what their experience is with our laws, our local water, who's breeding what, etc. I mainly participate in 4 forums: plantedtank.net, this one, BCAquaria and Planetcatfish. I peruse other ones for idle chatter, but Monsterfishkeepers.com, cichlid-forum.com, etc. don't have as much immediate interest to me.
