As some of you know (ok, maybe 1 of you), I've been fighting the good fight of pond Snails infestation. I would clean them manually one night, only to find a hundred all over the aquarium glass the next day. These snails are ugly and multiply like there's no tomorrow.

I even found a colony living happily in my Fluval Cannisters filter! Funny enough, none in my Eheim filter (no I dont work for Eheim) :)

Anyhow, since i didnt want to restart my whole tank setup, i decided to call in the Exterminators.. I little trip to big Al's, and 50$ later...

Golden Zebra Loaches

The next morning (today), these guys had removed 90% of the snails.
Not only that, they have brought life to the whole tank, love to swim in the broad daylight and even get the other fish out that I normally never see.

Needless to say twas the best 50$ ive spent in a while.

Good job on the loaches. Unfortunately, they are unpreferential to inverts and will clean out my shrimp too. I'm going to try Assassin Snails.

Actually my L066s love to eat ramshorn snails. I've seen them sucking the snails right out of their shells.

Is that right? I'm getting some L066's for my tank so maybe I'll just give that a try.

Loaches are great at getting into pleco caves and eating the spawn. Couldn't get rid of my yoyo's fast enough. Everything has good and bad points.

My Yoyos don't seem to touch my 333 fry. I tried to sell them before but nobody wanted them.
