Alright so today around 6pm I left for the bar for work and to dig out there as we have received 12-18" of snow.. No problem, my driveway was all nice and clear and good to go. Went to the bar, plowed the driveway there which took over an hour, then shoveled which took about 3 hrs. 1:30 rolls around and its time to head home. So I drive approx 20km down the highway. I have heard the the plows have been pulled off the roads, but whatever. The drive is long, takes like 30-45 mins or so, not really too sure. I noticed that the snow banks on the hwy (2 lane road) were getting bigger and bigger. I get home, or well to my road, and its nowhere to be seen! The snow bank over 5' high... No I am NOT exagerating. I went through it... WEEEEE the gf freaking thinking we were in the ditch cause snow flying everywhere and all we saw was black. Then we are thru and time for the driveway.... Now the drieway WAS clear 6 hrs before this.... It is now almost up to the hood of my truck, a lot of you have seen my truck, its BIG. Needless to say, I measured the snow and took a couple pics which don't do any justice, but here they are. 40" measured out my basement door in the backward.
