My apologies for sounding ignorant but what is DRAS? I've read references to it on many of the threads and have no idea what it stands for. I've also noticed that Finatics in Scarberia ask for a DRAS membership before or when they sell to you. I've never been there but would like to take a peek at some point in the near future and I'd like to go prepared. Hopefully someone will fill me in!

DRAS = Durham Region Aquarium Society.

I just started going to their meets in January, there's one every month minus a couple months in the summer. There's usually a speaker there and an auction @ the end of fish, equipment, plants and other aquarium accessories.
