are you keeping your in a trap for now? I did the same they are a bit small to go into the main tank with the other hypan grow outs.

Thank you Mathew, out of 7 fry I have two with yellow body but the rest are black and white. Is your L333 fry have mix colour in the body like that ?

Yes, that would be easier for them to locate the food. Until they get a little bit bigger.

as you can see....the variation of colouration, the one on the far left have very thin parallel wavy lines.

They munched on some nice earthworm sticks last and are already fighting over the best hiding spots...lol

Wow, nice one Louis. Are those the lower Xingu?
I was thinking about getting a lower ximgu too but think I'll hold out for the rarer version of the lower xingu - L173. But looking at yours, it sure is tempting.

Yes most of my fry look like they will be yellow but I've seen a couple that are very white.

Thank you Mathew, as per Fantasticfins (Dale) these fry are the L-333 Alenquer (white) and their colour are inconsistent.

Dude named silverdub on PF is selling them right now. He is in the UK though.

ya those are the group C xingus.

why not get both groups? XD

I almost want to sell my barbatus....make that tank into another hypan xingu tanks lol
