But it sure is fat...and territorial!

Its hard to tell from your pics, but I am leaning towards L240 over L007. It seems like the L240's have smaller dots and a HUGE dorsal fin. like HUGE HUGE.
checkout Planet catfish and see what u think.
Leporacanthicus cf. galaxias(l240) • Loricariidae • Cat-eLog • PlanetCatfish (http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species=leporacanthicus+cf_galaxias%28 l240%29&species_id=911)
My male L240's are pretty aggressive, that goes for all Leporacanthicus species though. Get a few males in the same tank and fight fight fight. They do heal pretty quick from battle wounds I have found though.

Unless im mistaken, it's just a L007 whose spots are getting more and more yellowish over time...Maybe Rich is right about my 6 inch being an L240. Spots are white as can be, as are most of the other l240 pictures ive seen.
These pictures were taken in Feb 09 ( 7months ago) when they were 1.5 inches. It's is now almost 3 inches.

Well, I got 3 of them from the same tank at Big Al's in Montreal back in Feb 2009. They were sold as L007...but one of the 3 is starting to look like an Adonis, the other one has more whitish spots, and the one in Pic #4 has yellow spots...who knows...maybe i got three different species from the same tank at the LFS? I'll take more pics later on.

These latest pics look to be LDA31, which are extremely aggressive towards each other.

Got them from Big Al's. bought 3 of them. They were labeled as L007 Galaxias. Now after careful examination, they are indeed LDA31's. Its hard to tell when they are young.
Thx for the clarification guys!

People have breed this species before in home aquarium. Breeding them is the same as breeding L204 flash pleco's. They should be 5-6" though at least before they will even consider it.
