Greetings Fellow addicts :)

I Just started this year with Pleco's...I was a former Cichlid/Loach person. Now I have to get rid of the Loaches and Cichlids. The loaches tend to compete for food with the Plecos

125g: L007, L14, L24, L48, L65, L91, 2x L114, L128, L177, L190, L200, Adonis
75g: L191, L190, L330, L27 2x Xingu and 1x Tocantin, L203, L104, L90, L002
50g: L25, 2x L66 (+16 fry), L174, L260, 2x L262.
25g: 6x L213
Chouin..you have a very nice collection of Pleco's... How long have you been in the Pleco Hobby..and give me your connections! :)

Here is my pleco collection so far (since Feb 09)

3x L007, 1x L015, 2x L018, 1x L075, 3x L134, 1x L168, 2x L190, L204, 3x L206, 1x L240, 2x L333

Besides Oliver and Charles (who are great by the way) any other online places you recommend (withouht a 1000$ minimum order?) . Aquascape online has a minimum order of 300$ + 150$ border documentation charge.

Id even be willing to cross the border, but Im not sure what the rules/law are concerning the transport of livestock across the border...

Anyone have info?

Thanks

We will but only your regular plec's that you see at all the crap LFS we have around here. I have been told by a few vendors who said at one point there will be many to come that that is no more. Rich broke the news to me from one vendor and another told me the same. Sucks big time if you ask me.

At least 10+ large exporters in Brazil have been shut down and jail time also for exported banned fish (which is all hypans and many others).

There is no problem bringing fish across the boarder. If you are over the money amount allowed they just want the GST and PST.

Really...Great news. What kind of questions should I expect?

I travel to New York often, and I know there are some importers in jersey.

Thanks

Nothing much, I have crossed prob 5 times or more with fish. They usually don't care or want to look it up what they are. Pretty funny actually, 'you have what?' fish for my aquarium, you know those sucky ones that eat the algae? Is usually about all that happens.

That is hilarious....!

Ive seen people in Canada post messages that they pick up fish at the border. Does that mean they get their fish from a US supplier and have it shipped to a friend in the states near the border? (and eventually go a pick it up)

Thanks
